Foilband is a non-bituminous butyl flashing tape which provides a durable waterproof seal. Comprising of a tacky adhesive bonded to a special tear resistant and UV resistant film, it offers exceptional strength, adhesion and durability and is ideally suited for use in flashings between conservatories and brickwork.
Unlike lead, it is quick, clean and easy to apply whilst being fully compatible with PVC-U, timber and polycarbonate glazing sheets. Foilband is also excellent for sealing leaking roofs and for general flashing applications and has these features:
- Service life in excess of 15 years
- Good performance across a wide range of temperatures
- Installation requires no chasing in - this saves time and money on traditional lead flashing

- Resistant to water vapor transmission
